"The best things in life aren't things". I consider this quote as the philosophy of my life because I really don't notice the material things around me. I'm more concerned on the things invisible to the eye, the things that are supposed to make you feel something deep inside.
More than anything else in the world, I treasure my family the most. There is no amount of money that can compare to their value for me, they are incomparable. Losing them would be living in a world with no air, I'll get a B in originality with this because it's in a song already (haha).
Having this great people in my life is a blessing from above. Having them is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. The best things in life are not those with price tags. Indeed, the best things in life are free...

Blog Entry #1: Superhero
Maybe it was just a simple act of kindness. But to me it was an eye-opener, it was the reason of what I have become as a person.
I was like the typical kids. Way back to my neneng days my favorite game was "taking-king cross". Yes it's just a game and I was just playing the game, but in that moment I learned the most important lesson I could ever learn in my whole life.
All of us were having such a good time playing, but there's this one girl who accused me of stealing here "mato" (the stone used in playing the game). My brother witnessed the girl yelling at me and giving me false accusations, he witnessed her sister being bullied and maltreated. He saw the tears falling down my eyes which triggered my brother's anger towards her. Kuya defended me and confronted the girl. I felt safe and protected, I found a superhero in my brother's persona.
That experience is still something that I am reflecting with until now. I learned that even sometimes you wont be in good terms, but your family would always be there for you. Other people won't treat you right, but your family will always have your back no matter what.
